Unique Works of a Christian Author

James M. Tarter is a prolific, 67-year-old Christian author who provides life-giving insights from the Bible. Tarter is an elder at Grace Covenant Church in Roanoke, Virginia. He has been writing books based on the Bible since 1985.

Tarter was a 27-year-old agnostic when he met God, which showed him that he had been wrong. Within months, Tarter realized who Jesus is. God also demonstrated to Tarter that God has preserved the Bible as His reliable word to mankind.

In 1976 God gave the key insight for the whole book of Job: if not corrected while on earth, his mistaken view of God's nature would have eternally kept Job from realizing that God's love for him extended beyond his ability to stay sinless. Beginning in 1979, God started opening up other key themes of whole books in the Bible.

Tarter holds a PhD in theoretical physics and has taught physics, math, and chemistry at multiple levels.

If knowing a key theme is important in life, and if Tarter could not find this being taught, then he would further examine and organize the theme. Many books have resulted from this.

God has organized the Minor Prophets in the Bible to reveal how He works with whole nations leading up to Jesus' return. This picture has been unfolding before the eyes of the world especially since the 1940s.
